"Yoga is a way to freedom. By its constant practice we can free ourselves from fear, anguish and loneliness"

Indra Devi

I LOVE yoga and seriously believe that this practice can be one of true healing.  I have personally learned so much about my body and also about life itself by hitting my mat regularly.

By getting out of our heads, connecting with our bodies, and feeling the tightness/tensions inside of ourselves we can slowly begin to release whatever we've been holding on to.  The journey of yoga is not a quick fix, it is a beautiful unravelling of openness in our hearts and our bodies.

To be honest though, twelve years ago when I took my very first yoga class I didn't really love it.  I preferred more high intensity activity than something slow and stretchy.

Fast forward a few years later, I began to experience lower back pain, feelings of stress and an inability to let go of things.  I returned to yoga at this point and found it to be a beautiful and essential practice in helping me to heal my lower back pain and provide  'space' from my thoughts, bringing about feelings of peace and relaxation.

I completed my Ashtanga RYT 200hr teacher training in Rishikesh, India in 2014.  I now teach a combination of Ashtanga and Vinyasa in Melbourne, Australia in outdoor spaces and in other centres in the city, to both groups and private clients.

I have incorporated yoga principles into my COACHING business as I feel that this is such a perfect complement to improving health and happiness along with making other lifestyle changes.

It also aligns so perfectly with what I truly believe:

'What I'm looking for is not out there it is in me'
